About the Course
Algebra 1 is an introductory course designed to provide students with a solid foundation in algebraic concepts and skills. This course emphasizes the development of critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through the exploration of mathematical relationships and the use of algebraic expressions.

Your Instructor
Jack Foster
Jack, originally from Montana, has lived in Puerto Rico for about twenty years and Cabo Rojo for about ten years with Damaris, his love. Jack earned a BA in Literature & Writing while minoring in Drama at the University of Montana Western. While working at the university, Jack discovered his second love (after Damaris), mathematics--which Jack had the opportunity to study at UMWestern as well. Jack and Damaris live entirely off-the-grid with their ever-evolving family of animals.
